Clothes for teenager going camping?

hi there iam a teenage girl and our youth group is going camping for the week in a cold climate, and i dont have a clue what to wear, as it will be frezzing cold 24/7 all the time, and as a teenage girl i cant seem to keep warm, even in the warmest of temperatures, i would imagine i will need tonnes of layers but i dont really know exactly what clothing and how many of each clothing to wear each day, i dont have money to buy expensive outdoor clothing,so the clothes will have to be my own, and i also have pajamas that i will take, but they are shorts and t shirt, and i dont know if they will keep me warm, but i have to wear them, as i love them i also have yahoo messenger, feel free to help me through that aswell thanks

  1. put layers and layers on! it will keep you warm! also if you put this thing called hot paws! in your sleeping bag it will be nice and toasty!
  2. Always Bring Thermals!!!!
  3. take sweater and monkey cap and good woolen socks to cover ur feet in addition to the cloths u have
  4. Wear lots of layers and bring thermal shirts, leggings and lots of thick socks. Do NOT forget socks, VERY THICK socks. And if its going to be as cold as you have said, I don't think you have to wear those pajamas because you love them. As you said, it'll be freezing most of the time, and, if so, they most definitely won't keep you warm. Bring a couple jumpers and jackets (waterproof) and a spare cozy one to wear at night. It's really all depending on where you're going, what you're doing and whether you'll get to wash your clothes or not.
  5. Hat with hood over it. Chapstick for your lips. Hand warmers (battery operated) Go to local ski shop for advice too. WOOL socks will keep your feet DRY and WARM better than any other material. Bring a thermos to keep HOT water in to keep you hydrated & warm. Avoid eating anything cold. Mittens NOT gloves. Have fun!
  6. Okayyy. You will want to layer a bunch of stuff. Here is what i suggest: Under armor long spandex or a like spandex ment for COLD weather. You can put these under sweatpants pjs or jeans! You will want a pair or 2 of sweatpants to wear in the morning around the fire and after your shower. a few under Armour long sleeved shirts for cold weather. You want some normal long sleeves for over them. A sweater is good to and will fit nicly inder a hoodie with a UA top under it. Hoodies are nice, take 1 or 2 depending on what other warm stuff you have. A fleece jacket and a normal jacket(like the north faces) are also good to have. You will want to take a rain jacket of some type. You want really warm gloves/mittens and wool socks. A hat or ear band is also nessacary. Boots-take a warm pair that you have as well as a pair for hiking like sneakers(btw sneakers might get a little chilly if it is reallyyyyy cold) Other stuff you might want: a flashlight, roll of t.p. depending on what that situation is, hand sanitizer, deoterant! etc...
