Clothes for teenager going camping in spring?
hi there iam a teenage girl and our youth group is going camping for the week in a cold climate, and i dont have a clue what to wear, as it will be pretty cold 24/7 all the time, and as a teenage girl i cant seem to keep warm, even in the warmest of temperatures, i would imagine i will need a lot of layers but i dont really know exactly what clothing and how many of each clothing to wear each day, i dont have money to buy expensive outdoor clothing,so the clothes will have to be my own. i also have pajamas that i will take, but they are shorts and t shirt, and i dont know if they will keep me warm, but i have to wear them, as i love them i also have yahoo messenger, feel free to help me through that aswell thanks

- Forever21 has some cheap outerwear, and old jackets from winter on sale! They should keep you warm! Hope I helped!
- go into Millets and get professional advice, but one tip i can offer is take an empty pillow case, stuff your clothes in it at night and you will have an instant pillow, in my years of camping that was the thing that makes it hardest to get to sleep at night
- Get some leggings to wear under your jeans. They will help keep your legs warm.I would get several pair and wear those 24/7.I would also wear several shirts, long sleaves
- Your own clothes will be enough. But, stock up on long sleeved tees and singlets that you can wear under big jumpers or hoodies. Team them with some trackies, and if you want extra warmth, tights or leggings underneath the trackies. Invest in thermal underwear maybe, and gather up some beanies, scarves and gloves, and make sure to take plenty of socks :)
- It's going to be COLD. MY school went White Water Rafting and there was a point where we were huddled together sleeping because it was just to darn cold and it was MAY!!! You have to start by wearing a bra obvioulsy with a tank top over it. Then if you have any Under Armour, I would wear that too. And then a thin sweater or hoodie. http://www.ae.com/web/browse/product.jsp?catId=cat90048&productId=0452_7826 ^^ not that one, that's just an example. Then you can put a fleece on top of it for extra warmth. http://columbia.com/Product/2/Womens/220/Sweaters-Fleece/8414/Intrepid-PT-100-Full-Zip.aspx?viewAll=False Not that one, just an example. :) And then a nice waterproof jacket to go on top. Then for your PJ's...wear big sweatpants..(those are always warm) and just wear a big sweatshirt. P.S. DO NOT wear ankle socks. You will regret it... ;)
- You will have to get some of the correct clothing or you'll freeze to death! Try Ebay for cheap second hand stuff (that's what we did when we took the kids to Lapland). Firstly you'll need thermal underwear - the full length stuff - I know it's not terribly cool for a teenager but believe me, you'd rather be warm than cool! Ha ha. The layers in between don't matter too much (but do layer it) then I'd suggest some proper waterproof outer garments as they'll keep the cold and wind out too. Oh and get some decent pjs or use the suggestion in the answer above - if you're too cold at night you'll get no sleep.
- Liefde-Chance has some decently-priced long sleeved shirts and even hoodies.
- lots of hoodies, and lots of shirts(14or more) to wear underneath them (dressing in layers will keep you warm)be sure to wear a hat too!do you have any old sweatpants-they will make great PJ's for those cold nights .double up on socks-wearing 2 pairs if necessary and 7 pairs of jeans should be all you need(don't forget flip/flops to wear in the shower!)
- try shirts here in http://www.customwomenstshirts.com this way you can still buy clothes at a wholesale price.
