Clothes for teenager going camping?

hi there iam a teenage girl and our youth group is going camping for the week in a cold climate, and i dont have a clue what to wear, as it will be frezzing cold 24/7 all the time, and as a teenage girl i cant seem to keep warm, even in the warmest of temperatures, i would imagine i will need tonnes of layers but i dont really know exactly what clothing and how many of each clothing to wear each day, i dont have money to buy expensive outdoor clothing,so the clothes will have to be my own, and i also have pajamas that i will take, but they are shorts and t shirt, and i dont know if they will keep me warm, but i have to wear them, as i love them i also have yahoo messenger, feel free to help me through that aswell thanks

  1. LOTS OF SHORTS.
  2. just wear scrubs! like sweatshirts sweatpants. wear long underwear under tee shrits... it doesnt have to be cute- your going camping! and then you can get dirty!!
  3. first put on long johns, then pants and a long sleeved shirt, then long socks and sweatshirt ove the top, then you can either put a jaket on over that or a vest, then boots Good luck!!!!!
  4. I recommend getting a couple pairs of thermal underwear. not the thick kind though, they make thin sheer or silky feeling ones that fit easily under your regular clothing. If you bring a couple pairs they will keep you really warm under your regular clothes. this can be worn day and night...believe me it's a cost effective alternative to a new wardrobe. And on warmer days you can just wear the bottoms. good luck
  5. i'm a teenager answering this question. Wear tonnes of layers. Go to like forever 21 and they have really cheap long slives for under six dollars. Do you have a heavy jacket, if so take that and all the sweaters you own and I think you'll be okay.
  6. yeah, bring lots of shorts and t shirt and it'll keep you warm!!!! its funny, coz i don't remembered being this stu_ _d as a teenager!!!!!!!!
  7. Wear your scruffiest clothes, honestly no one will care out in the wilderness, and you don't want to wreck your nice clothes! don't wear shorts if it's cold! Wear sweat pants/ tracksuit bottoms. Make sure you pack everything you need. Make a list (i always do) and check things off as you pack them. If you live in the UK, go to somewhere reallly cheap but sute, like Primark.. i don't know what the equivilent in the US is... Wear wellies because theres nothing worse than cold wet feet.. and pack loads of socks to change into (about 2/3 pairs a day- it'll make you feel better :-)) make sure you pack lots of fleeces (you could have them in bright colours to cheer everyone up :-)) Wear the PJ's with knee lenght socks to keep you warm- they are sooo cute and practical ;) just take lots of T-Shirts with you to layer up if you get cold/ take off if you get too warm. make sure that you have all the toiletries you need etc.. toothbrush, hairbrush. For your hair, i reccomend up all the time, as i presume you aren't going to be able to wash it whilst there :S? Anyway take lots of hair bands to tie it up withh. That's all the advice i can give you, STAY SAFE and have fun :-):-):-) haha
  8. wear sweats, and if u have none ask a friend if you could borrow some of their clothes. im sure one of your parents has sweats or some kind of warm clothes. o and bring blankets!those will GREATLY help keep you warm. if your going camping, its always a good idea to bring your own pillows.
