Clothes for teenager going camping?

hi there iam a teenage girl and our youth group is going camping for the week in a cold climate, and i dont have a clue what to wear, as it will be frezzing cold 24/7 all the time, and as a teenage girl i cant seem to keep warm, even in the warmest of temperatures, i would imagine i will need tonnes of layers but i dont really know exactly what clothing and how many of each clothing to wear each day, i dont have money to buy expensive outdoor clothing,so the clothes will have to be my own, and i also have pajamas that i will take, but they are shorts and t shirt, and i dont know if they will keep me warm, but i have to wear them, as i love them i also have yahoo messenger, feel free to help me through that aswell thanks

  1. bring jeans long sleeve shirts hoodies-both pullover and zip up and like one big heavy jacket possibly gloves or a scarff too :) ooh and if you have uggs bring them theyy are super warm laayerrs !
  2. Bring a lot of long sleeve shirts and hoodies, and make sure to layer layer layer! Maybe like, a cami, then the thermal, then a hoodie, and a cute hat that covers your ears. That way your upper half will be warm and cute. and for pants, wearing wool tights underneath your jeans keeps your legs warm. really try to find some other pajamas, those won't work at all for keeping warm.
  3. EVERYTHINGG~!!!!!!
  4. pants sweaters and under armor its at all sporting goods stores it clings to your body and keeps you super warm
  5. Get on ebay and order yourself some military surplus thermals. They may not look too cool but no one will see them. Keep your core,i,e, your upper body warm at all times, body warmers can be very inexpensive and come in all colours. Not forgetting though your youth group has a Duty of Care towards yourselves so they will/should help with equipment. A cheap waterproof poncho always come in handy. Remember 'There's no such thing as bad weather just the wrong type of clothing'. 3 layers minimum, have fun.
  6. I went camping in November. I had 2 strap tops, 2 t shirts, a thin hoodie, a thick hoody, leggins under jeans, 2 pairs of socks, shoes, an insulating matt, a sleeping bag and a tent. I still froze. Layers are very, very important if you're not going to buy outdoor gear. Layer yourself up as much as possible. It you end up too hot, you can just take some off. It's better than wearing too litle and being cold!
  7. Do not go for hoodies and jeans, layer up, if you can get to TK Maxx have a look in the outwear section, cragg hopper etc are perfect, light fleece material, looks thin but keeps heat in, just wear some thermals under thin layers is better than jeans ( big mistake ) and you can add and detract as you wish, and a really good water proof jacket with a hood will help. Dont forget gloves.
