Can anyone help me find a website with tips on decorating my new ladies clothing store?

I am opening a ladies clothing store and I need some help on decorating the place. Does anyone know of a website that has tips and hints on decorating a retail store? I have looked everywhere and can't seem to find anything except contractors. I absolutely don't want to hire anyone to do it as I am working on a small budget and just need some basic ideas.

1. You must have access to the WWW? Browsers are an excellent way to explore/search/ and often find multiple suggestions. You might also try actual, first hand exploration in any womans clothing store or dept. in a general merchandise store. Especially those with a high percentage of clientel. Rev. Steven
2. Go to a large bookstore and browse through books on retail merchandising and environmental graphics. Also, go to the magazine and sites I located below. They have competition for the best displays by category. Go look at sores you like and take notes. Come back after hours and take snap shots or sketch what you like about the store. Remember, clothing is important, so less is more. It needs to show off the merchandise, not overwhelm it. Also, go to the websites of people who design environments for stores. You can look at their portfolios for free! Good luck!
3. dont make your project so hard, go around to stores you know that sell womens clothing and other womens products a that should give you a general idea of what to do, remember you want the place to look bright and cheery to the customer.
