Clothes for teenager going camping?

hi there iam a teenage girl and our youth group is going camping for the week in northern canada, and i dont have a clue what to wear, as it will be frezzing cold 24/7 all the time, and as a teenage girl i cant seem to keep warm, even in the warmest of temperatures, i would imagine i will need tonnes of layers but i dont really know exactly what clothing and how many of each clothing to wear each day, i dont have money to buy expensive outdoor clothing,so the clothes will have to be my own, and i also have pajamas that i will take, but they are shorts and t shirt, and i dont know if they will keep me warm, but i have to wear them, as i love them i also have yahoo messenger, feel free to help me through that aswell thanks

  1. wear like long johns or whatever chicks wear. something skin tight. wool socks. and a hella of alot of layers. please tell me you have a nice winter coat with a liner on it. i live in alaska and it gets cold so eh i know how to deal.
  2. juss get all geared up bring a lot of jackets.
  3. i recently visited Canada and I'm from Australia so that was a shock to the system. Inside a house, cabin you should be fine in long pants and a T-shirt. Outside you'll need long johns (skintight and uncomfortable) shirt and long pants, a jumper, a Parker and sky pants in the snow. Oh and a beanie and gloves.
  4. Cotton tank + cotton leggings + long johns (top & bottom) + hoody + thick sweater + lined raincoat/windbreaker + scarf +gloves + wool hat + wool socks + waterproof boots = warm & cozy
  5. Think thermal underwear. And keep the heavy outer garments loose,so you don't sweat.
  6. try something baggy! It will make you look like a tom boy...... lol
