How important are clothes labels to you?

Like personally i avoid the brands that charge me a fortune to get free advertising by me wearing the stuff. My favourite brands are the ones with labels on the inside and still enough style to recognize the quality. How about you?

  1. not that important as long as it looks good on me and its comfortable i would wear it...
  2. Does it look good? Fine with me
  3. Not important at all. All I care about is that my @$$ is covered.
  4. not important at ALL. I actually think they are very silly.
  5. Burn the labels, I say! Burn, baby, burn!
  6. any clothes with label in/out are fine with me. Just as long as it's a name brand or ones i like. They also have to be the right size.
  7. i do not care whatsoever about labels, as long as i like it and it suits me, what should it matter
  8. i used to shop by brand and price. the more expensive the better, because i was stupid enough to think that is how you get girls to like you. now, i could care less about brands. i need something that is comfortable and satisfies my tastes. i can't wear most jeans because i like jeans that don't hug your legs and have plenty of foot room. recently i discovered the best clothes for me in fact is stuff at the thrift store because a lot of it is recent, its cheap, and its exactly what i'm looking for.
  9. You mean you prefer itchy labels to rich bitchy ones?
  10. They are not important to me at all, i like nice clothes, as long as they look good, i feel good, i am happy..........
  11. Big brands are rip-offs,you pay well over the odds for the dubious pleasure of being a walking advert.
  12. Brands and labels do not matter - good quality is important!
  13. not very important to me,its the way you present yourself that's best.
  14. The better-known the brand-name, the more the price includes advertising costs. I won't wear external labels, and resent paying the costs of the advertising as distinct from the costs of quality production. So I usually buy really good quality, second hand (except for shoes). As a former fashion retailer, buying in Europe, etc, I bought items for delivery from the factory after the French/Italian designer brand-name had their exclusive period early in each season - and I paid costs which allowed me to sell items (with my own label or a factory label) exactly the same as the famous fashion brand, out of the same factory, at less than half that brand's retail price, and still make high profit margins. Also, many "famous brand" labels are made by different licensees around the world, in whatever factory they select. BUT, so long as the original "label-owner" wants to preserve the reputation he has spent so much money, and advertising, establishing, the goods under the label have to pass his/her approval - which is some guarantee of quality. So a brand label can stand for something. But the real test is your own judgement, on quality, fit, style, and the rest. Good quality, cut, and classic style (rather than passing fashion) will last and be a pleasure to wear, long after cheaper junk needs discarding.
  15. as long as they say 8s and fix I'm OK with that
  16. the only use i have for clothes labels, is so that i know which way round i should put my tshirts on i DON'T buy designer/label clothes, because I consider it a waste of time/money
  17. Not even an issue with me...as long as it looks good, and usually comfortable...I refuse to pay for someones name...and their advertisement...I have better things to spend my money on!! =) ~PEACE~
  18. Labels don't mean a thing to me. As long as the thing fits me and doesn't look stupid, then I don't care who made or designed it.
  19. I avoid expenxive clothing, but do like quality garments. i would never buy something, which I can't pay for immediately, by cash
  20. I prefer clothes I can afford, that are comfortable and well-made. An amazing number of "name-brand" clothes are pirated anyway.
  21. Not important.as long it is good quality and i feel comfortable in it. but i know some people who like to wear brands, where it is written with big letters the name of the brand on a shirt etc. i always found this distasteful and cheap.
  22. Asda price and Primark are my labels, cheap, cheerful, trendy and it doesn't matter if they go out of fashion quick as the clothes from those shops are cheap enough to replace, I don't do labels, never have and never will, its not the clothes that make a person its who's inside them that matters.
