why do girls wear giant labels and logos on clothes?

I've seen guys and girls wearing clothes like hollister, A&F with giant logos on them that can be seen from a mile away. They are just human advertisements for the clothing companies. Do they wear the logos just so people can know they are wearing hollister? I think its just really tacky. its better off to wear clothes without labels because even high end clothes like john galliano, marc jacobs, valentino, dior, e.t.c dont put stupid logos on their clothes.

2. You seem to have an obsession with stores like Hollister an A&F. In all your questions you make fun of people who wear them. If you don't like the stores, why waste the energy on it? Seems to me that you're jealous of people who do shop there.
3. I like my clothes to be plain. I hate logos, for some reason its embarassing. i dont want people to think i'm wasting ridiculous amounts of money on a label when i can get a cheaper version thats just as good. If i'm gonna advertise, i'd rather be the one getting paid, not the other way around! And yeh, labels can look tacky.
