Why is it almost exclusively a teenagers market for fashionable clothes?
I can't speak for the rest of the world, but in Australia it is becoming increasingly difficult to buy clothes that are not aimed at teenagers. There are designers clothes for the older woman but they out of financial reach for most of us. There is assured success awaiting someone who opens stores for the over 40's plus who maybe don't want to show off as much flesh as they used to but still want to be fashionable. We've got the money but seem unable to spend it.

- It's called the quick fashion movement. (Buy more, more often, throw away more, more often). Younger consumers are willing to spend disposable income on fashion, etc. They can sacrifice quality and are well informed and care about trends. Hence the forever 21s, zara's, and H&M's of the world. It's better to get great pieces that last longer so you don't look like a slave to fashion or "cheap." But I totally get what you are saying.
- im a teenager and i love to shop at h&m, forever21, diesel urban outfitters and when i buy something from abercrombie and fitch i see someone else with it
- Why dont you try a store like forever 21. Its aimed at teens but the clothes are big. Im 30 years old and I am wearing there size small. They have fashionable clothes that do not always have to show skin. In fact, they are copies of designer clothes. I think you should also try big department stores like Macys, they have plenty of clothes there for your age group and market. I dont live in Australia, but I am sure you have high end department stores. Go to saks fifith avenue and Neiman marcus and go to the sale rack and find some clothes for your age group. Good luck!
- cause teenagers rock!!!!
