Clothes for teenager going camping in spring?

hi there iam a teenage girl and our youth group is going camping for the week in a cold climate, and i dont have a clue what to wear, as it will be pretty cold 24/7 all the time, and as a teenage girl i cant seem to keep warm, even in the warmest of temperatures, i would imagine i will need a lot of layers but i dont really know exactly what clothing and how many of each clothing to wear each day, i dont have money to buy expensive outdoor clothing,so the clothes will have to be my own. i also have pajamas that i will take, but they are shorts and t shirt, and i dont know if they will keep me warm, but i have to wear them, as i love them i also have yahoo messenger, feel free to help me through that aswell thanks

  1. Top things you MUST bring: -A coat -A sweatshirt -Leggings (athletic ones perferably) (You can use these to wear under pants or jeans) -Lots of long sleeved stuff -Some t shirts for layering purposes. I hope you don't have to spend too much money on this stuff, if you don't have leggings bring thermals
  2. Don't worry about buying anything new. Just take things you already have - tee shirts and long sleeve tees for layering, a sweatshirt, your coat, jeans or sweatpants, a pair of leggings or tights to wear under your pants for extra warmth, thick socks, and boots or tennis shoes. These are all things you probably have in your closet already. You don't need to bring duplicates of everything - while you will want a clean tee shirt for each day, you can wear the same sweatshirt and coat all week. Also, not everything has to match or be super-fashionable - you're going to be in the woods. Also be sure to take a hat and gloves, just in case!
  3. i'm going to swansea in june with my uni lecturer&classmates camping for 2 wks and am dreading haven't a clue what bring!! the only shoes i possess are flat pumps!!!
  4. First, Call a friend or local Girl Scout Troop or Council that camps for their list! Note that it can warm up or you can perspire even in COLD areas!!! Take and wear "bad ol' clothes"! No kidding! Layers!!! 2-3 leggings, 2-3 jeans,2-3 t's, 7 long sleeve t's, sweater, hoodie, 2 pr old/used sneakers and a pair of solid shoes, 10-14 pr socks, hat, 2-3 pr gloves/mittens, flipflops for when you shower, two flimsy towels (they dry faster), a Flashlight with extra batteries and bulbs, an old blanket for inside your sleeping bag and a couple of pillows. Take 2-3 large garbage bags in case it rains or you need to pack up fast. (The extra socks, sneakers/shoes,gloves etc. are in case some get soaked in rain, snow or with perspiration.) Go to a thrift store for anything you are missing! No new stuff for this trip! You are camping in the woods! If you underpack, someone else will have overpacked and share! You will have Fun!!!
