Do you pay for your own clothes or does your parents pay for them when you are a teenager?
For all TEENAGERS: Do you pay for your own clothes or does your parents pay? Do you have to go out and work to pay for stuff that you want? How much do you get for allownance per a week? Just wondering.

- My parents payed for all my clothes... Sometimes they STILL pay for my clothes!!! haha! =]
- My parents pay for my clothes and I don't get allowance.
- My parents pay for them
- well if i want clothes from Hollister or Abercrombie then i have to pay but my parents will pay for cheaper stuff. and i don't get an allowance cuz my parents make me do chores when ever i want to get money. yeah it sucks!!
- well if im w/ my parents then they always pay if not then they usually give my money sometimes they dont tho im working to just to have more money in case & no allowance since they give it to me anyways whenever i need it
- I pay. It teaches me responsiblity and makes me feel better than having my parents pay. I have a babysitting job that pays $ well. I get a weekly allowance from chores for $7.
- I used to have my mum pay for them cos I'm 15 but I wanna be more responsible with my money so I get £150 ($300) a month now and I buy my clothes, tram tickets and magazines with that. I volenteer at a animal rescue every Mondays and Tuesdays and don't get payed. I'm not spoilt. I realy want a job of my own, though. Edit: and chores, I offer to do chores but theres not much to do because it's just me & my mum and a puppy. I do cook dinner alot though.
- No usually my parents buy things for me, i offer to pay but they say i should save my money for things i need and not for clothes. So they pay. But i dont get an allowance but i wish i would to buy the things i need. And no i dont work for the stuff. PS- NO CHORESS!!!!!
- my parents pay for my clothing. but i don't get and allowance and i have to do ALL my home work(first).
- It seems spoiled.....but I get pretty busy with sports and other activities so getting a job is a bit hard, so my parents pay for all my stuff. I do lots of things for them like run errands, pick up my siblings, keep my room and bathroom clean, and yard work but I don't have any kind of allowance so I think it is pretty balanced.
- I dont get allowance, I have been doing odd jobs around my neighborhood and I have been buying my own clothes since I was 9. Sometimes I buy clothes for my parents and brother, too, because we all have very little spending money. I think teenagers should only ask for money for clothes if they NEED something, not if its just the latest trend, and there parents have to spend 80 dollars on a pair of stilleto's that will rot in the closet after a few months anyway. Good Luck!
- My parents pay, but if it's too expensive (aka, over 30 dollars), I have to pay for it. I play piano and I teach piano to my Mom and Dad and a few friends for 10 dollars for half an hour of lessons. Most of it goes to my college fund, some goes to my fund for a dog, the rest goes to other random junk. I don't even shop at the most expensive stores either unlike some people. The most expensive stores I shop at are Delias and PacSun for clothes, not including shoes (I don't have many of them either). I never buy insanely expensive stuff from those stores either and I don't care about trends and doing a new wardrobe every other day. It's just stupid. 50 max on a pair of shoes, 40 dollar max on a pair of jeans, and 30 dollar max on a shirt, not including sweaters/etc. And I rarely get clothes that expensive. I do keep my room and bathroom clean. I vacuum them, and my room is rarely very messy. I'm a neat freak! Although, I have to keep my grades up and everything. I'm in 8th grade and they're stricter than ever about doing your homework before talking with friends, etc. It's not that bad though, since I'm usually an A straight student, not to brag or anything. I don't want to sound like I'm bragging. :-( In the future, I plan on getting a job and paying for most of my clothes, right around when I'm 16, maybe? Hope I helped!. :-)
- i pay for my clothes when i have the money but if i dont have any money then my parents will pay for me
- my mother pays for things i NEED and i pay for things i WANT :) i sometimes get a weekly allowance of 7.00 but it is not very regular and i do babysitting to get extra money
- nope. my trusty parents pay for my clothes. ahahhah. :] <3
