  1. Just wear what you think looks nice. It doesn't matter what other people think.
  2. You should watch What Not To Wear on TLC. I think you'll find what woman your age should be wearing. Shop at big department stores like Macy's, JCPenny, etc. Look at what other woman are wearing when they are outside. :]
  3. u should watch the show "What Not to Wear"!!!!!! its episodes about grownups who dress bad or don't dress their age. they help them out, help with, makeup, hair, and fashion! here, this is the website: http://tlc.discovery.com/fansites/whatnottowear/whatnottowear.html watch their episodes on TLC!
  4. I'm only 13, but I think that places like Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Gap, White House Black Market, etc. I often see a bunch of clothes there that I'd love to wear if I was old enough!
  5. Go to Nordstrom's or Bloomingdale's and ask for guidance.
  6. express.com newyorkandcompany.com jcpenny.com target.com khols.com (P.S. Shop in the womens department. not the juniors) if you cant tell wich one is which ask a service clerk
  7. you shouldnt be wearing those clothes anymore! im 15 and i wear those! kay, well abercrombie made this older people brand its for 20+ or 30+ i forgot abercormbie owns this. its called RUEHL No.925 http://www.ruehl.com/ruh/index.html
  8. yea don:"t care what other thinks i am 31 one and i dress like a teenager too and look pretty hot the way i put to gerther my outfits, but its your action that counts
  9. Don't feel bad, all of the "Dance Mom's" at my studio try to be young and wear all of that & they're close to like 50. Ha, but I guess it's whatever suits you. That's great that you have a kickass body to wear those kinds of clothes though, you shouldn't really feel ashamed. But Forever 21, and Charlotte Russe have really nice things from girls in their teens to women in their fourties! My mom is a hairstylist and buys some fun tops from their and just accesoriezes them up!
  10. you can look young without tooking like a teenager. at your age trendy is more appropriate. places like hollister american eagle and abercrombie are for more of an immature group of young ppl. i am 18 and have grown out of these places already so here are some sites& stores where i shop. http://www.charlotterusse.com/home/index.jsp http://www.rue21.com/ http://www.nyandcompany.com/nyco/browse/category.jsp?categoryId=cat60010&selectedId=cat60010&addFacet=1002%3Acat60010 http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/category.jsp;jsessionid=88C49FD71DD00203461FE5CE1FD5FAC6.app16-node6?specialCategory=false&navAction=jump&navCount=0&itemCount=&id=WOMENS http://www.forever21.com/f21_main.asp ((hope all these help you))
  11. its perfectly fine. i am 12 and i think its cool that you know what we like. everyone at my school wishes their mom would be like them fior once. Thats why i think you shouldn't chantgge where you shop :D but since you want to change, ii would shop at jcpenny, macys, and belk.
  12. well you can start by shopping at places where the clothes are designed for women to wear stop shopping at all the stores listed above and check out gap, ann taylor loft, banana republic, j.crew, old navy, and the WOMENS SECTION (not juniors) of department stores also read some fashion magazines made for women to get an idea of what is in style for your age group hope i helped :]
  13. White House Black Market is where my mom shops and they have really good business-like adult clothes. Also New York And Company and Macy's. Definitely don't shop where teens shop, you should be moving on. Hope this helps!
  14. It's ok to wear clothes from those stores that you mentioned. Take a look at Cameron Diaz, she's past 30, dresses in a young way but looks gorgeous! But anyway, if you seriously want to stop dressing like your daughter you need to plan what flatters your body shape, face shape, personal style and skin complexion/hair and eye color. In this way you'll know what clothes and colors will look good on you. If you want to dress maturely, then you don't have to wear ugly and shapeless clothes. The key is to add a little bit of sophistication to your style. Here are some examples: - Neutral colors such as black, brown, beige, white - Neutral color shoes and boots. Heels are perfect! - Tailored jackets (blazers, trench coats) - Timeless and solid colored clothes (v-neck sweaters, turtleneck sweater, dress pants, white shirt) All of those things might sound plain but I've left out one thing that won't make you look old AND boring: Accessories. Mix the pieces mentioned above with trendy and colorful jewelry, but keep it at a minimum. You can try chunky beaded necklaces, bangle bracelets, and hoop earrings. Here are some website to look at: http://www.nordstroms.com http://www.macys.com http://www.lordandtaylor.com http://www.maxstudio.com Hope that helps and good luck on your makeover!
  15. SHop from places like Ann Taylor, LOFT, Anne Klein, H&M. And watch TLC's "What Not to Wear".
  16. Try upscale stores like Bloomingdales and Nordstroms.
