Is it strange that I like to wear womens shoes?

Yesterday i went to the store and bought size 11 womens boots. they had about a 4 inch heel, were pointed toes and went to my knee. I went home and put them on and they felt great, walked around sat down with them on and I liked it. this was the first time I ever did this. I'm very straight and have been with my girlfriend for 5 years. I admit i do have a shoe fetish and this was the first time I ever wore womens shoes and I really enjoyed it. Later in the day I felt guilty/embarassed about it and returned them. I know this isn't normal for a straight guy to wear womens shoes but I'm honestly thinking of doing it again and I don't know if I should tell my girlfriend or even do it again.

1. In my opinion you did nothing wrong. We all got weird stuff that turns us on. We just dont want no one finding out about it. Go get the boots back and keep them in a gift box. That way if they are ever found you can sey they are for your great aunt Margaret.

5. well i dont consider this to be strange since you are posting this in the lgtb section. maybe you were just really curious to know how it feels for us to walk in those on a daily basis, if you returned them, you have nothing to feel guilty about. however, if you kept them and continue to wear them and proclaim to your girlfriend that you are straight, then, i would say thats wrong.
6. I know how you feel and what you are going thru. 26 years ago I felt the same way. Now 26 years later and a few hundreds of pair of women's shoes, boots and sneakers later I wear them openly in public. I try them on in the store. If someone has a problem with that, it's their problem not mine. I'm not hurting anybody by wearing them. But in saying that if you do wear them in public, you will likely receive a few stares or comments. Now that I'm older I have learned to stay away from the stilettos. I try to stick with 2 1/2" heels or shorter. Or flat boots. As well I pick practical colors that I can wear in public but don't scream out "LOOK AT ME" So is it strange? Many say yes, I say no. If it makes you feel good do it, life is short and you shouldn't have to live your life because of what others think. As for telling the girlfriend, I won't say, YES or NO. But I will tell you, I told my gf early in our 10 year relationship. She lived with it but hated it. As long as I kept it behind closed doors it was just OK, but I started going out in public like this. There were other issues but that sexual relationship is over. She still my best friend. I'm sure there are lots of girls that would like it. You'll have to figure that one out. Good luck my friend
